I graduated from Spring Woods High School and got a full-ride to the University of Texas at Austin to double major in Finance and Mexican American Studies. I;m a first-generation college student who wants to make sure that my disabled sister and younger brothers (mix of US Citizens and DREAMers) continue to embark on the same educational journey. Without HB 1403 my scholarships w;t be enough cover my attendance at UT. My goal in life has always been to give back to Texas and without a proper education my contribution w;t be as great as it could be.
